Servergrove
The Good *** (only since I could not test it personally)
These guys and or gals have been staying up late thinking. Servergrove is targeting a market of paying customers. They offer a twist to the market I have not seen anywhere else yet. I have not contacted them for a test run, although they do show a helpful webmail demo where video mail is demonstrated on their site. Servergrove has a great idea. The best figured that the best way to implement video mail is to integrate it into your email service. And they are right on. For example when Google and yahoo and MSN begin offering video recorders embedded into their email, they will most likely dominate the market unless competitors like Servergrove can some how offer more. Servergrove is selling an email service with videomail built-in. Awesome. And for the Internet marketing professional who wants to implement video this is the way to go. Because at Servergrove, customers get to host their websites too, and send videomail from their domain name, very important feature. Now if we find out that Servergrove has all the other features built into it. Look out world, They have a formula for big future success. Because this will be one of the best ways to fully utilize the video communication trend. So if you understand how important it is to integrate video mail into your hosting account. This is your best option. A great idea, probably will be copied by others after they start taking big chinks of market share. I can certainly see how this would be a natural add on for all hosting companies. Servergrove fees are a bargain when you add in the video mail and hosting, and domain registration all in one package. That is a lot of added value. If their video mail feature works half decent they get three stars and if they build in what I think are the three big features of value, 1. video watched notifications. 2. Disable video. 3. Graphics around video. Then they will lead the way with five stars. Let's keep an eye on this company.
The Bad
No way to test their service until you buy the service. Not known if they have video mail code can be generated to imbed into blogs and website.
